Things To Do

Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge is tucked away in the foothills of the Smoky Mountain. It offers a little of something for everyone. No matter what age.

Theme Parks

One of the main attractions in Pigeon Forge is Dollywood and Dollwood's Splash Country. This name may ring a bell? … This company is partly owned by Dolly Parton, a legendary country singer. Dollywood was known as Silver Dollar City back in the early 80's until Mrs. Parton became a partner and through collaboration it became known as Dollywood. In 2001, Splash Country, Dollywood's Water park was officially opened.

There are several theme parks on the streets of Downtown Pigeon Forge. You will see kiddie rides, go karts, bungee jumping, and rides for the thrill seekers. Not to mention, you will see air brush artists and vendor of all sorts. In the Gatlinburg area, there is a theme park called Ober Gatlinburg. This theme park offers skiing, tubing, an aerial tram way, and ice skating. ASK ABOUT OUR SKI PACKAGES!

If you are wanting to visit a theater or a show, this area has them for sure. There are comedies, children's shows, dinner shows, country shows, and musicals. Dixie Stampede is a dinner show in Downtown Pigeon Forge. It is a fun-filled, action-packed experience with a delicious entrée.

Outdoor Adventure

Hiking, Trails and Waterfalls

One of the most beautiful areas is Cades Cove. Cades Cove is an 11 mile one way loop that offers mountain views that are to die for. Deer are almost always sighted and sometimes bears, turkeys, foxes, and other wildlife. There are pull-offs in this area to allow observers to carefully view the wildlife. There are also a wide array of historic buildings (churches, barns, mills and old houses). Numerous trails are located in this area, you can visit the local visitors center for questions.
